Glad to be back and Good to Go
Testing, testing… anyone out there?
We are delighted to report that our tours will be up and running from Saturday 1st August. Obviously, the last few months have been very strange but we are really looking forward to sharing stories with our guests again.
Of course, things have changed. At present, we cannot guarantee access to all the venues that we normally visit on our tours. As I write, King Tut’s and Nice ‘n’ Sleazy are working on their re-opening procedures. This means that we will not be going inside these venues on our Music Mile tours.
Naturally, we will still have all the great stories from both venues. As soon as the situation changes, we will update this blog and put the news out on social media.
Health and safety
It is very important to us that our guests feel safe and comfortable on our walking tours. To help this, we have implemented the following:
Social Distancing – Our maximum tour places are smaller in accordance with current government guidelines and we will adhere to social distancing guidelines throughout tours.
Facemasks – Our guides will be equipped with facemasks and hand sanitiser. They will also have disposable facemasks for the use of guests at any indoor stops.
Good to Go – We have successfully applied for VisitScotland’s Good to Go scheme. This is a UK-wide industry standard and consumer mark which shows we are adhering to public health guidance and have carried out a COVID-19 risk assessment.
