Merchant City Festival tours
Not long to go now until the launch of our special Merchant City Festival tours.
Starting off at the Old Fruitmarket, the four tours are a two hour swing through the musical past and present of the Merchant City and East End.
From the dung-flinging audiences of the Panopticon to the Barrowland’s more romantic stories, the tours bring some of Glasgow’s most famous venues to life.
Live bands
We will announce names soon but we can tell you that each tour will end with a brilliant set from an up and coming local band at Mono Cafe Bar.
Check the blog over the next few days for band names and interviews.
The tours run on Sunday 26, Thursday 30, Friday 31 July and Sunday 2 August. Tickets are £5 and £3 concessions. You can buy them via the Merchant City Festival.
We know that everyone always says this but we expect the tours to sell out so, if you fancy it, get busy.
If you have followed us on here and Twitter then you know that we have been busy running practice tours over the last few weeks. The Merchant City Festival tours will be our first gigs for the public and we are really excited (not too mention enjoyably nervous) to see what people reckon.
Come tour with us.
