Sophie Rocks at the Rail Yard July 27th
Concert series Music At The Green is bringing live music to the brand new Rail Yard in Kelvinbridge! To kick off this exciting new collaboration, Sophie Rocks will be performing a FREE, one-hour harp concert on Saturday, July 27th at 1pm.
Established in 2021, Music At The Green is committed to showcasing local music in Glasgow’s vibrant community and green spaces. With a mission to make high-quality music of all genres more accessible, affordable and sustainable, Music At The Green takes live music out of traditional concert halls and into local neighbourhoods.
Taking place at Partickhill Bowling and Community Club and The Kelvinbridge Rail Yard, Music At The Green offers a wide-ranging programme that includes free family concerts—often in partnership with local organisations—and in demand ticketed evening performances.
Join award-winning Shetland born harpist Sophie Rocks at 1pm on the 27th July for a modern take on the classical harp, blending brand new harp music with traditional music from the Shetland Islands and some surprising covers you might not expect!
